Representative Projects
The following projects represent field experience gained while working with environmental consulting firms, State agencies and Federal agencies throughout Northern California, Oregon and Washington.
Infrastructure Biological Monitoring
Provide biological monitoring during construction activities including vegetation clearing, grading, and infrastructure installation to ensure compliance with environmental permits. Common monitoring tasks included: nesting bird protection measures, wildlife exclusion monitoring, environmental compliance reporting.
Raptor Nesting Surveys
Performed pre-construction nesting bird and raptor surveys to support infrastructure and development projects. Tasks included: nest identification, buffer recommendations, and construction timing coordination.
Utility Line Transmission Vegetation Management
Conduct nesting bird surveys, habitat assessments and biological monitoring for special status species including bald eagle, Swainson's hawk and yellow and red-legged frog species for right-of-way vegetation clearing projects. Collaborate with tree removal crews and various agencies to ensure environmental compliance
Salmonid Habitat Assessments
Participated in stream surveys evaluating habitat conditions and population studies for salmonid species. Operated rotary screw straps, fixed and resistance board weirs, back pack shocking studies and supervised adult fish counting on the Snake and Columbia Rivers.
